Like how I added more alliteration to the title? Eh? I figured I’d add “my friends” because, really, where else do I get wonderous loads of information every week? And oh my god. There was SO much wonder.
5. BABY SLOTHS POOPING
Yea, I know. At first I was like, WTF, why would I ever want to see anything POOP? It’s bad enough I was forced to watch my best friend do it in 6th grade! (TMI?) But I took a chance, and man, I’m glad I did. Sloths pooping are SO CUTE. (Courtesy of my dad!)
4. THE SCALE OF THE UNIVERSE
HTwings.net is a website of interactive, animated awesomeness, in particular The Scale of the Universe. Ever wanted to know about the smallest thing visible to an electronic microscope? Did you know that Central Park is just 1 kilometer shy of being as big as Earth’s second moon (we have a second moon?!)? You could easily spend a solid hour discovering how absolutely insignificant you are. (Courtesy of Dan)
3. WHAT’S IN SEASON SOUP COMIX
My lovely friend and old roommate Corinne has drawn up a quirky recipe story for Saveur.com I have a special fondness for this comic, as I spent many a night watching Corinne whip up a creative array of soups from anything she could find in the refrigerator: mmm delicious.

2. IT’S NOT OK, OKCUPID
Why does online dating suck so much? Maybe a few responses from Anna Pulley’s tumblr, It’s Not Ok, Ok Cupid will prove once and for all that the online dating world is a collection of people you wouldn’t bring home to your mother, or people you would bring home because your mother is crazy. Anna reads some hilarious responses out loud for our cringing pleasure (Courtesy of Anna: http://annapulley.com/):
1. IT’S TIME TO DANCE WALK!
Sometimes, I just don’t have enough pep in my step, especially on a Friday. That’s where Ben Aaron has found a cure: the Dance Walk. Obviously inspired by all the strutting queens in Urbania, the Dance Walk invites everyone to shake their ass in public to their favorite song. Bonus points for the Olivia Newton-John request: DANCIN IN THE STREET.
